Our speaker, Mike McGrail, a Senior Digital Account Manager at The BIG Partnership and author of the The Social Penguin, is a highly regarded figure within the social media scene.

Mike’s previous work includes responsibility for delivering online communications strategies for businesses such as NHS Scotland, The Famous Grouse, Semi-Chem and The Daily Record.  Mike is also the creator of the highly popular The Social Penguin Blog, a platform that he has used to convey his deep understanding of the opportunities that social media marketing offers to businesses.  This session promises to be an extremely useful and practical session for GYP members who use Twitter or who want to find out more about it.

What is Twitter? It’s the second largest social network behind Facebook with over 100m members and is increasingly used by businesses and professionals as a tool for marketing, business development and knowledge-sharing. This seminar will help you understand whether this tool is for you and how best to use it.
