Zap Down the Cap! A Charity Abseil for the Yorkhill Children’s Foundation and Gorgie City Farm

Ever fancied abseiling down a building?  Or maybe you just want to see Glasgow from a different perspective?  Either way, MacRoberts are offering a unique opportunity to perform an abseil from the top of their landmark Glasgow office, the Capella building, in the name of charity!

The charities which will benefit from the money raised are the Yorkhill Children’s Foundation and Gorgie City Farm.  Registration costs just £30 and a minimum of £75 sponsorship is required to be raised.  The event is taking place on Saturday 18 May at a range of times throughout the day.

On the way down the 120 foot glass walls of Capella, you will experience stunning views of Glasgow not easily accessible from anywhere else in the city.

No previous experience is necessary.  A dedicated team of expert instructors will be there to talk you through the basics of abseiling, including how to control the speed of your descent. You will be provided with all the abseil equipment – all you need to bring on the day is a few friends and family to cheer you on!

If you would like to participate in this unique event, just follow the instructions on MacRoberts’ website.  The event is open to anyone, so if you want to get friends, family and colleagues involved, please forward on the link.  The deadline for registration is 1 May.

See you at the top!!
