Alan Meldrum: A Frictionless Experience in a Disruptive World

In the latest instalment of our #GYPSeminarSeries, we are delighted to welcome Alan Meldrum of Percepta to SocietyM where he shall discuss the importance of a ‘frictionless customer & staff experience in an increasingly disruptive world.’

Alan shall discuss how in a digital environment with new technologies, limitless innovation and never-ending interruptions that brands can prosper by providing their customers and staff with a truly seamless experience, one without complication or chaos.

Alan will talk about his experiences of working globally in the automotive industry, he will give practical tips on how all types of companies, organisations and professionals can improve the experiences they give, how they can utilise core values to the benefit of all and use technology as an enabler as opposed to a disrupter.



Alan Meldrum is Vice President of Client Services at Percepta, a Global Customer Experience Management Company. In his role, Alan leads Percepta’s Sales, Marketing and Client Strategy across the globe. He joined the company in 2000 as Regional HR Director, and laterally managed Operations across Europe and Asia Pacific.

Today he works directly with clients to determine the best possible strategy for their customers; enhancing customer satisfaction and driving loyalty. Alan is based in Percepta’s European Head Office in his hometown of Glasgow.  When not working, Alan can be found on his mountain bike, scaling the highlands of Scotland.
